Why you have to accept the new role

So since 2017, when I entered the wonderful world of patient advocacy, it has probably been one of the most rewarding things I have ever been able to do.

However as I get one step closer to being 30, has meant a lot of the doors which I had previously walked through to try and make a difference are now closed. No longer being seen as a “young person”, but still wanting to do something kind of limits your options to pursue that avenue. I am also someone who has a fall time job, which whilst I do some time have to question if it gives me the same fulfillment I every day. I genuinely believe in public service and I still feel like I have a lot to give in this space.

As such that leaves me with a dilemma. How can I actually make sure I am doing something, when I can’t quite do all the bells and whistles that I had before.

#Movember is the perfect time to bring attention to what I have spent the last 3 years of my life trying to me useful, and get more men to pay attention to their health. Movember is all about what I am passionate about, which is creating a platform to give other men the confidence to check in with themselves, and their health. For the last 3 years, I had always not quite been able to organize myself to stand up with my fellow moustachied brothers in arms. However for 2020, that has and does change. This year the world, and in particular my girlfriend will have the pleasure of seeing this beauty grow and grow over the rest of the month.

So if you want to ensure that my girlfriends suffering is not for nothing. I am only looking to raise £250, so anything you are able to donate would be great.
